Ted Head
Water Color Artist Extraordinaire
Ted Head’s
love of God’s creation is apparent in all he paints. From beautiful
wildlife and landscape paintings to fascinating portraits, his work
portrays an emotional and spiritual quality that can only be expressed
in watercolors or oils. Ted’s paintings are sometime mistaken for
photographs upon first viewing, but he is quick to point out that his
goal is to go beyond the confines of a photo and turn the ordinary into
something extraordinary. Ted was featured in American Artist magazine in 2006,
The Best of America Watercolor Artists in 2007, and his painting “The
Haitian” will be featured in the upcoming Best of Watercolor series, Splash 11; New Directions.
Ted also teaches monthly watercolor workshops. “I love teaching,”
he says. “I’ve become so passionate about watercolors that I love to
help others increase their enjoyment of this wonderful medium.” Class
information, as well as a gallery of all his paintings can be seen at www.TedHeadWatercolors.com
